Food and wine have always been important to Italians, with mealtimes being occasions to relax, socialise and enjoy. Historically, wines were produced from local varietals to complement the local seasonal cuisine and this is still true today. Pizza and pasta may be the best known Italian foods and are now enjoyed across the globe, but each region also has its own quirky dishes and specialities, from turnip tops with pasta in Puglia to jugged hare up in Piedmont. Here, we bring you a selection of recipes from the four regions where our Da Luca wines are produced.
